We stopped here overnight on trip from Morro Bay to Monument Valley. Nice welcome, I think from owner. Pleasant washrooms included showers and were clean. Looks like the owners are making an effort, successfully. Ideal stopover for trips from San Francisco/ L A to Las Vegas, Grand Canyon or Monument Valley. Would use again.

Pleasant welcome, not very nice park. Number of washrooms inadequate. Would not go back, that may be more due to city than park.

Stayed overnight on trip from Las Vegas to Lake Tahoe. Finding Hawthorne was like finding an Oasis after country we passed through north of Las Vegas. Nice welcome, good sites, excellent washroom & showers. Obvious the owners are trying to please. Good Supermarket in sight - 5 minute walk. Would stop here again.
